How To Use
To create a Dov's Listing, you must register first. In the upper-right hand corner of the home page, click on JOIN. Enter your email, a password of your choice (at least six characters long), and certify that you are at least 13 years old. Then click on SUBMIT. You will receive an email shortly afterwards with a link, which you should click on to confirm your Dov's List registration. Once you confirm your registration, you're ready to begin! In the upper right-hand corner of the home page, click on LOGIN and enter your email address and password. You will be prompted to fill in "My Dov's Listing." Here you will be asked to fill in information about the person who is ill. You will be prompted to decide if your Dov's Listing will be private or open. An open Dov's Listing means that anyone can access it and send messages of support. A private Dov's Listing means that people can only access it with a password. Even if you have a private Listing, users may discover that it exists by searching, but they will need to request a password from you in order to access it. For example, if your Listing says that you are located in New York, NY, and someone searches for all Listings in New York, NY, the name on your Dov's Listing will appear, along with a picture of a padlock. Users may then request access from you. Not every piece of information is necessary to create a Dov's Listing, but the more information you provide, the easier it will be for people to connect with you. While you do not need to provide a photo of the patient, please be aware that only Dov's Listings with photos will appear on the home page. You will also be able to enter a blog, which will allow you to provide as much information about a patient's condition as you deem appropriate. When you are finished, click on "Save Dov's Listing." Please be aware that all Dov's Listings undergo a screening process in order to prevent misuse. Your Dov's Listing should be online within 24 hours. If time is of the essence, please contact our webmaster.
Searching for a Dov's Listing Each Dov's Listing provides details of the illness, the patient's blog, a way to book a time to pray, and to send a message of support. If there is a Dov's Listing that is password-protected, you may request access by typing in the requested information. Although anyone can send messages of support, all are screened before being posted, so they will not be seen on the Dov's Listing immediately. Please check out our FAQ section or contact us.
