Born 3 months premature, Miriam Raiva has v.a.t.e.r. syndrome, underwent serious surgery at age 3 days, and faces several more. (Now, at 8 weeks, she weighs 1.6 kilo, and remains in critical condition.) 1 July update: At age 10 months, she weighs 5.5 kilo, is developing nicely, but still faces several more surgeries to repair several misaligned/misconnected organs. 7 Dec update: at age 15 months, just had surgery for tethered spine, which had to be done before the internal-organ surgery. B"H, she's recovering nicely, and still awaiting the other surgeries.Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

She has pepto liver cancer. There was a tumor found in
her liver 4 months ago, and then another tumor in the liver about a month
ago, as well as a tumor in the kidney. The first chemo therapy was unsuccessful, they will be doing another one on her next week.
