Is there a fee to set up a Dov's Listing?
There is no charge for this valuable service.
Are all Dov's Listings accessible to everyone?
Everyone has the option of adding passwords to their Dov's Listings, should they wish to limit viewing to a select group of people. However, bear in mind that if you select this option, anyone searching to pray for someone will not be able to access your information. The more accessible your Dov's Listing, the easier it will be for people to pray on your behalf.
If my Dov's Listing has no password, how can I prevent strangers from posting inappropriate messages?
All messages posted on Dov's List undergo a screening process before they are posted, in order to prevent misuse. If, despite our precautions, you find that someone is taking unfair advantage of your web page's accessibility, please click here and report it so that we can take care of the problem promptly.
I just signed up for Dov's List, but I don't see my Dov's Listing anywhere. Why?
Everything posted on Dov's List undergoes a screening process in order to prevent misuse. Your Dov's Listing should be online within 24 hours. If time is of the essence and you need things posted immediately, please click here.
I wish to pray for someone, but I don't know how to read Hebrew. How can I help?
You don't need to know Hebrew in order to pray. Simply download our Tehillim (Psalms) and read either the transliterated version (coming soon) or the English version.
What else can I do to help people experiencing illness?
Signing up for prayer and sending well-wishes are excellent ways to start. Check out our resources section for some more excellent suggestions.
How does the "Book Praying Time" feature work?
The "Book Praying Time" option allows visitors to sign up to pray for a patient at a specific time of day. This allows families of patients to coordinate prayer so that conceivably, people can be praying on behalf of a patient 24 hours a day. You do not, however, need to book a specific time in order to pray on behalf of a patient; you can simply send a message of support indicating that the patient is in your prayers.
